Situated in the heart of Berlin, Wedding, the infamous Arno Brandlhuber concrete building better known as “The Lobe Block” welcomes a new fine dining restaurant – Baldon. We designed the bar and lightning objects, with the brief to add a female touch to the brutalist interior.
To break with the concrete surfaces dominating the space, we built a pink travertine and stainless-steel bar as a centrepiece of the open space. Floating above the bar is a 6 m long bespoke brass tube lightning object which offers a stylistic discontinuity to the cubic and heavy materials
